A Flower Unfolds.

I came across a lovely book over the weekend. It is a short book called "A Flower Unfolds" and it is filled with pretty black and white brush drawings and short poems.

It is by Marjorie from Kwan Yin, and she is known as a Bodhisattva which apparently means 'a being of enlightenment who is dedicated to the enlightenment of all.

This poem appealed to me.

Undivided Attention
The responsibility
lies within you
to give to yourself
and to the rest of the world,
undivided attention
with no judgement.

If you would like to read more of the poetry the book is available as a free download from here.

Thanks Anne, that is a lovely poem, and the picture is gorgeous!

The idea of undivided attention - especially given to ourselves - is really attractive, isn't it?
