Carnival of living a real life - December 20, 2007

Welcome to the December 20, 2007 edition of living a real life. The theme of this carnival is living a real life during the holiday season.

As usual we had many submissions, for which I thank you. I have selected those posts that are relevant to the Christmas theme and I am pleased to be able to present them for you here:

Madeleine Begun Kane presents Ms. Legal Person Answers Your Holiday Questions posted at Mad Kane's Humor Blog, saying, "Humorous Holiday Advice"

GP presents The 10 Commandments of Holiday Eating posted at Innside Montana-Your Home at the Range, saying, "Thou shalt not skim holiday flavor ... read the holiday 10 commandments !"

Debora Silkotch presents O Christmas Tree posted at Ramblings, saying, "Plant a living tree!"

Tea Party Girl presents Nurture All Your Five Senses This Season posted at Tea Party Girl, saying, "For a well-rounded nurturing season."

Craig Harper presents The Muffin-Top Pioneer. posted at Renovate your life with Craig, saying, "Everyday you and I have the opportunity to notice the un-noticed, love the un-loved, hug the un-hugged and to encourage and support those who are emotionally starving in a sea of humanity. We have the opportunity to make an incredible difference with a few simple words and a few minutes of our time."

Cathy presents The Cosmic Wheel of Kindness...Pass It On! posted at Joy Thru Generosity, saying, "This idea to pass a "token of kindness" began as a unique way for people to reach out and connect with others. In recognition of random acts of kindness, a “token” is passed on to someone as they perform a kind act. This sets the “cosmic wheel of kindness” into motion, as tokens are passed on endlessly! Whenever someone performs an act of kindness hand them a token."

James DeLelys presents Cherished Moments posted at Author James DeLelys, saying, "A day with Words."

Kim Ethridge presents 10+ Top Alternatives for Gifts in the Spirit of the Season posted at Cranberries on the Counter, saying, "The holidays are about more than gifts. Give gifts with a purpose and spread the true meaning of Christmas."

That concludes this edition. There were many submissions not included in this edition because they did not fit the theme. I will select some of these and present them in a post-carnival edition of this carnival!
